PQ125E Gas Tracer Leak Detector
Acoustic detection depends on the leak making a noise, which a low pressure or plastic main often does not. The PQ125E adds gas tracer detection to the acoustic method: tracer gas is introduced to the pipe, it migrates to the surface at the point of failure, and the instrument finds it. Eight metres of depth, indoor positioning to a quarter of a metre and outdoor to about a metre.
